SHIPPING & RETURNS
AREN and SMNYC apparel is made in Los Angeles, on demand. Because every piece is produced individually after you order, your total wait is production time plus shipping transit.
Standard production is 7–10 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. New designs entering production for the first time may take slightly longer while materials and labels are prepared. During peak periods (Q4), production can take 15–20 business days.
Once produced, your order ships via USPS Ground Advantage or UPS, typically 3–5 business days in transit. Most domestic orders arrive within 10–15 business days from the day you order.
Standard shipping is a flat $8 on U.S. orders. Orders over $180 ship free.
You'll receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking link once your order is produced. Allow 24–48 hours for the carrier's first scan — it's normal for status to read "Pre-Shipment" or "Label Created" until then. If your order has multiple custom items, they may finish production at different times and arrive in separate packages, each with its own tracking number.
Confirm your shipping address at checkout. Because these are made to order, a package returned for an incorrect address is reshipped at the customer's cost.
If tracking shows "Delivered" and you can't locate the package, check with neighbors, household members, and your local carrier before contacting us.

We do not issue cash refunds. Approved returns are compensated as store credit, which can be used toward a new order. Direct exchanges are not offered. Limited-edition products are final sale and excluded from returns or credit.
Email your return request within 7 business days of delivery. Once approved, the package must ship back within 5 business days or eligibility is voided. Returned items must be unworn, unwashed, and include all original tags and packaging.
Approved returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee, deducted from your credit. Original shipping, taxes, and duties are non-refundable. Customers cover return shipping.
If an order arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery with a clear photo. Incorrect or defective items are eligible for replacement or correction. Items must still be unworn, unwashed, and in original tags and packaging.
